Employee-owned Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) has set terms for its initial public offering (IPO) of 75 million shares at an estimated price range of US$13 to US$15 per share.
SAIC is in a “quiet period,” which imposes restrictions of a company’s internal and external communications.

$399 Million Awarded to Secure the Nation’s Critical Infrastructure
The Department of Homeland Security announced that $399 million in grants are being distributed to ports, transit and intercity bus systems to strengthen the nation’s ability to prevent, protect against, respond to and recover from terrorist attacks, major disasters and other emergencies. These awards are part of the Infrastructure Protection Program (IPP), which are comprised of seven programs that constitute major critical infrastructure sectors.

Border Security Contract Awarded
The Department of Homeland Security announced the award of a contract with the Boeing Co. to implement SBInet along the United States northern and southern borders. The Secure Border Initiative (SBI) is a comprehensive plan to control our borders and stem the flow of illegal immigration through an integrated mix of increased staffing, more robust interior enforcement, greater investment in detection technology and infrastructure, and enhanced coordination on federal, state, local, and international levels.
